Music is perhaps the most moving force created by man. It can make a 350 pound man cry
and a rail-thin woman dance possessed in a mosh pit. Every Friday and Saturday night for
a number of years I went to rock shows, mostly in basements and little hole in the walls were
you can feel the sweat bounce off the drums. While it is impossible to replicate the emotion
resulting from music, the following photographs help visualize the many reasons why
musicians create and perform and why I kept returning weekend after weekend after weekend.
